Using camrygolf.com DIY putting green plan, head professionals at golf courses can easily create flat greens that don’t have to be large to prove effective for putter fittings. Camry golf greens will save hundreds of dollars and can still be adjustable in slope and speed very easily! Each Putting green build at 4×10 -15′ would cost $250 all in! Here are a few benefits to having a FLAT and TRUE putting surface for putter fittings. Camry’s greens are similar to the greens SAM Puttlab uses – except ours are built for a fraction of the cost, with a better rolling turf.

A simple 4×10 to 4×15′ green or 8×12 green would prove to be very valuable to the golf course, golf shop, or club fitter, as the Camry golf greens are built flat and roll extremely true and pure! You can even throw down chalk lines!  This is important for the customers to know they can roll that particular putter they are testing out, dead straight with ease. Rolling the ball straight down where your aim is the most important thing when buying a putter, and Camry Golf Greens DIY build is the best for that. Camry assures the ball won’t wobble or have the golfer second-guessing.

Having a small, flat green can certainly be valuable for golfers who are trying out different putters, as they can more easily see how the putter performs on a consistent surface. Getting the proper length is first, and then the most critical key is loft and lie, for finding the best fit for the customer. If we are playing off interchangeable lies for putter fittings, the customer WILL NOT be able to find real consistency the day of the fitting.

Adjustable indoor putting greens are perfect for club fittings.
See a positive roll, and hear the ball drop into a cup.

Camry Golf DIY putting green models assure a perfect surface to minimize small variations, in order to get the best fitting possible.

I don’t know how many times I have gone to get fit for golf clubs and the lie we are hitting from isn’t perfectly flat. Master fitters mostly know this secret, but it is sad to see so many fitters ignore this golden key. As we know, putter fittings and club fittings can cost up to $300! Imagine getting a bad putter fitting because you were outside and putting on only a right to left surface. Most likely, the putter you will be fit to will be too short and cause toe hang. Every millimeter counts in the game of Golf, and even more so to achieve the best putting stroke.

Seeing and Hearing the ball drop into a 4″ cup is very satisfying, to say the least.

Therefore, a small flat green can be a useful tool for fittings, the one key to making sure a customer gets a great fit to a client is to make sure they see a positive roll, and hear the ball drop into a cup.

The charcoal unorthodox color (but beautiful) of Camry carpet provides a new surface and proves to people how great the contrast with the white golf ball is. I feel this trains my eyes really well to zero in. For players, Camry carpets build and aesthetics (symmetrical geometry) makes sure they get the square and precise visuals to enhance fittings. Jack Nicklaus, possibly the greatest putter ever, was in fact color blind to green!
